This was a project for my 3D animation class; the requirement was to make an animated Rube Goldberg Machine. I had the idea to make one that was circular, which turned into the idea to put it on the brim of a hat. I was still not completely happy with the result, so, as I tend to want to do with all my projects, I added a dragon to it! That then led me to the end goal of the machine; since Rube Goldberg machines are meant to do something simple in a complex way, I made this one flip the switch that releases the dragon out of the hat. In addition, the various parts of the machine reminded me of a circus to that became the overall theme for the video.
